Old Gods and hedgerows; river systems and things lurking beneath rocks; storm cells and unusual people. This new collection examines the strangeness in our nature and the shifting solidity of the nature around us through science and myth, and the stories we tell ourselves.

The 11th anthology from the talented, eclectic and disparate community of writers and artists known as The Superstars. An exciting collection of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, art and experiments is the result of twelve months of prompts set between 2023 and 2024, and curated by Lauren K. Nixon.
Including work from: Jessica Grace Coleman, Amina Farouk, Liz Hearson, Angel Kershaw, Lauren K. Nixon, Sand Rennie, Laura Sinclair and Clarabelle Wilson.
Sing Madrigals is a fiery collection of poetry from Lauren K. Nixon, delving into the intersection of nature, folklore, and the human condition - after all, what are we without that spirit of protest and defiance?
With powerful imagery and a tone that ranges from sorrowful to enraged, this collection is a madrigal for those who refuse to be silent in the face of injustice and apathy.

Find Me In the Wild
Me
As one of the Rhubarbarians you can join me and a large number of excellent poets on the last Wednesday of each month (except December) at Rhubarb, a spoken word open-mic night held at The Triangle in Shipley.
On 11th April, I’ll be at the People Powered Press in Saltaire with a whole bunch of wonderful local writers for the next Bradford Writes event. Each of us will be doing a reading and there will be opportunities to buy books. The People Powered Press is a very cool creative space, so it’s worth stopping in just to have a look around at the presses.
This is a ticketed event - but the tickets are free! Follow the link below.
